On Mac, sales teams close deals 9.9% faster

Cisco studied how device choice affects the work of more than 130,000 employees. Given the choice, 60% pick Mac. Mac users create more deals, ship more code, and need one-third fewer IT admins to support them.

Challenge

Cisco wanted to know whether its employee choice program really pays off — not just in satisfaction, but in hard numbers across sales, engineering and IT support.

A global, hybrid workforce means thousands of devices to deploy and maintain in many countries at once, without losing control over security.

Solution

Cisco IT expanded its Mac@Cisco program and reimagined its employee choice program. Macs are deployed and managed with Jamf Pro, so a distributed team is served without manual setup.

The company compared the performance of Mac and PC users across the organization: in sales, software engineering and technical support.

„At Cisco, we are reimagining the Mac experience to support, engage, and empower employees to do their best work.”
