Challenge

Zoho builds software used by more than 100 million people and opens offices in small towns and rural areas of India. It needed hardware that attracts and retains talent without burdening IT.

Developers, AI teams and designers have different, demanding workloads — from compiling code and training models to design quality assurance.

Solution

Employees choose their own device. Macs are deployed through the company’s device management solution, and built-in security — FileVault and Touch ID — reduces the need for third-party add-ons.

Developers work in Xcode, while designers sketch on iPad Pro with Apple Pencil and refine in Figma and Sketch on Mac. Energy-efficient Apple silicon lowers power use and operating costs.

„I believe that we shape our tools and in turn the tools shape us. Using Apple products has changed the way we consider and approach product design.”
— Rajalakshmi Srinivasan, Director of Product Management, Zoho Corp.
